Privacy Policy

Last updated October 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how The Pinnacle Life Group (“Pinnacle Life Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information in Pinnacle Score (“Score”), the agent platform available at score.insure and any related applications, pages and services (together, the “Service”). It applies to the agents, team leaders, staff and other authorized users who sign in to Score (“you” or “Users”), and to the information about insurance clients, prospects and leads that Users record in or receive through Score.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the Score Terms of Use. It does not apply to our public website at thepinnaclelifegroup.com, which has its own privacy policy, or to third-party services that Score links to or embeds. Please read it in full. If you do not agree with it, do not use Score.

Who is responsible for your information

Pinnacle Life Group, a licensed independent insurance agency with its principal office at 209 Philadelphia Ave., Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215, owns and operates Score and is responsible for the personal information processed in it.

A note about insurance privacy law

Insurance agencies are treated as “financial institutions” under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and are subject to state insurance information privacy laws modeled on the NAIC Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act. Those laws govern how nonpublic personal information about insurance clients, including financial and health information collected in connection with an insurance transaction, may be collected, used and disclosed. Score is an internal business tool that supports those transactions, and we handle client information in it consistent with those obligations.

Information we collect about Users

When you have a Score account, we collect and maintain:

  • Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, and profile photo.
  • Agency and licensing details: National Producer Number (NPN), carrier writing numbers, compensation level, team, upline and hierarchy, start date, and account status. Most of this comes from our agency records (our Airtable directory), not from you directly.
  • Performance information: submitted and issued business, premium, persistency, rankings, scores, bonus and promotion progress, and the activity numbers you enter in tools such as the KPI tracker.
  • Account and sign-in information: sign-in method (password or Google), last sign-in time, and password reset requests. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us.
  • Lead Market information: where Lead Market is available to you, your lead orders, deliveries, wallet balance and funding history, and the phone routing details needed to deliver calls to you.
  • Support and feedback: messages you send through the in-app support assistant, support threads and feedback forms.

Information about clients, prospects and leads

Users record information about their insurance clients and prospects in Score, and Score receives client and policy information from insurance carriers and our agency systems. Depending on the tools used, this may include:

  • Name, date of birth, address, phone number and email address.
  • Policy details such as carrier, product, policy number, face amount, premium, status and dates.
  • Health information used to prepare quotes and assess eligibility, such as height, weight, tobacco use, medical conditions, medications and answers to carrier underwriting questions.
  • Financial information used in needs analysis, such as income, expenses, debts, budget and existing coverage.
  • Beneficiary details, notes, and records of inbound calls (such as the caller’s phone number and call duration).
  • Leads supplied by lead vendors through Lead Market, such as name, phone number, email address, state, the lead’s answers, and the vendor’s record of the lead’s consent to be contacted.

Score is designed not to store Social Security numbers or bank account numbers. Please do not enter them in notes or any other free text field. If you are a client or prospect and want to know what information we hold about you, see “Your choices and rights” below.

Information collected automatically

When you use Score, our hosting provider records limited technical information in server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and errors. We use an error-monitoring service that receives technical details about errors, together with the signed-in User’s account ID and email address so that we can investigate problems. We also use a product analytics service to understand which Score features are used. It identifies you by your Score account ID and role, not your name or email; it does not record keystrokes or form contents; and page addresses are reduced to page types so that client identifiers are not sent.

Cookies and similar technologies

Score uses cookies and browser storage that are needed to run the Service: authentication cookies that keep you signed in, a short-lived cookie used when an administrator previews Score as another User, and preference settings such as your dashboard view, sidebar state and light or dark theme. Our product analytics service also stores an identifier in your browser. Score does not use advertising cookies and does not share information with advertising networks.

How we use information

We use the information in Score to:

  • Provide Score: create and secure accounts, show your book of business, clients, production, team and leaderboard information, and run quoting, needs-analysis and other agent tools.
  • Support insurance transactions, including submitting business, tracking policies and keeping client records accurate.
  • Calculate production, rankings, scores, bonuses and promotion progress, and show leaders the performance of the agents they oversee.
  • Deliver leads and calls purchased through Lead Market and keep the related records.
  • Answer support questions, including through the in-app support assistant, and respond to feedback.
  • Monitor, secure and improve Score, detect and prevent fraud and misuse, and keep audit records.
  • Comply with insurance, licensing, tax and other legal obligations, and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not use client information in Score for our own advertising, and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about clients. Quotes and eligibility results in Score are estimates; underwriting decisions are made by insurance carriers under their own processes and notices.

Who can see information in Score

Access in Score is based on role. Agents see their own business and clients. Team leaders and authorized staff see the business of the agents and teams they oversee. Production figures, rankings and profile details are shown to other Users on leaderboards, team pages and agent profiles. A limited number of administrators can view Score as another User to provide support; that preview is read-only and is logged.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information collected in Score, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as described here:

  • Within our agency: with the agents, leaders and staff who need it, as described above.
  • Insurance carriers and our client portal: when business is submitted, client and policy details are sent to the carriers involved and to the Pinnacle client portal (mypolicypal.com) that lets clients view their coverage.
  • Service providers that host or operate Score for us and may process information only to provide their services: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage); Vercel (hosting and server logs); Airtable (our agency directory and client records); Resend (account setup and password reset email); Sentry (error monitoring); PostHog (product analytics); Anthropic (the AI model behind the in-app support assistant, which receives your conversation and the Score information needed to answer it, which can include client names); Discord (internal support and feedback channels, which receive your name, email address and message); CallGrid and our lead and call partners (routing and reporting calls and leads you purchase); Google (sign-in); and Stripe (payment processing where Lead Market funding is offered; card details are entered with Stripe and are not stored by us).
  • Legal and safety reasons: where required by law, subpoena or a regulator; to establish or defend legal claims; to investigate fraud or misuse; or to protect the rights and safety of any person.
  • Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy continuing to apply.

Some Score pages embed or link to services operated by others, such as lead and marketing vendors. Information you enter in those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Security

We protect information in Score with access controls that limit each User to the records their role allows, encryption in transit, server-side handling of client records, audit logging of administrative access, and confidentiality obligations for the people and providers who handle it. We have procedures to respond to a suspected data breach and will notify affected individuals and regulators where the law requires. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information sent over the internet. Keep your password private, sign out of shared devices, and tell us right away at connect@thepinnaclelifegroup.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to service in-force policies and to meet insurance, licensing, tax, accounting and other legal record keeping requirements. When a User leaves the agency, their account is deactivated, but business records about the policies they wrote are kept as agency records. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

Users can review much of their own information in Score and should ask their team leader or contact us to correct agency records such as contact details, team or writing numbers. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Clients and prospects can make these requests too. Send requests to connect@thepinnaclelifegroup.com. We verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time applicable law requires. Some information must be kept to meet legal and regulatory obligations even after a deletion request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Your responsibilities as a User

If you enter information about clients, prospects or other people in Score, you are responsible for collecting it lawfully, giving any notices and obtaining any consents the law requires, keeping it accurate, and using it only for legitimate insurance business. Do not download, copy or share client information outside Score except as needed to serve that client.

Children

Score is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through Score, except where a minor is named on an insurance policy, for example as an insured or a beneficiary, as part of an insurance transaction.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Score, our business and the law change. We will post the current version on this page and update the “last updated” date at the top. Where a change is material, we will give more prominent notice, such as a message in Score.
